Anne is an architectural designer and co-founding partner of sustainableBYdesign. With over ten years experience designing and running architectural projects as a founding member of Inbuilt's design team and previously for J.R. Davies Associates. Anne specialises in design and technical performance, particularly Passivhaus design and is an advanced user of Revit BIM.
Anne has worked as a lead designer on various projects from new build, refurbishment, landscape, private domestic, and many school projects, including the design for a library and staff room for St.Matthew's school, Surrey; an Early Years Unit in Brixton; and the remodelling of the reception/library building for EGA College, Islington. In addition she has been instrumental in the success of many larger school projects such as Archbishop Sumner's, Kennington; St. Scholastica's, Hackney; St. Luke's, Cubitt Town; and Westminster City Boys School.
Anne has managed large-scale retrofit projects for Tower Hamlets Local Authority existing housing stock, using funding from the social housing energy saving programme (SHESP) and has previously worked as a freelance designer of furniture and private residential projects.
While at Inbuilt, Anne led a project to develop generic code compliant house types (Code for Sustainable Homes level 3/4) for one of the UKs major Housebuilders, and played a key role in developing and testing a Framework for Sustainable Development.
At sustainableBYdesign, Anne has been leading our Revit and BIM capabilities enabling fully co-ordinated, building component based 3-dimensional design modelling - as well as for environmental performance simulation (using Ecotect for thermal, daylight and sunlight modelling) and photo-real visualisations. She is also a member of the London Revit User Group.
She was successful in being awarded a bursary for RIBA Pt I first year at The Architectural Association and is currently completing her final year of an architectural degree at South Bank University, studying part time.
